  1. I have a similar problem in that I cannot install the freebies. I get to the download page via the account icon in Photo. I can download a file, but that's when everything goes awry. The Photo window flashes, the blue "processing" cursor appears and all the heading text from the Photo menues disappears. From that point on Photo is in some sort of loop and never recovers. I have to restart Photo to do any further work. Edit 8.2.21 I have just successfully installed the 3 free packages in Designer. I have also installed 2 of the 4 Photo packages in Designer with no problems.
  2. I'm having a similar problem with Dropbox. I've got Photo and Designer licences. I downloaded the latest Photo Beta this evening and tried to download the Designer Beta. That resulted in a 401 error, telling me that I don't have the right to download.
  3. I', currently using 1.7.1.404 in a trial of the software. Having used Photoshop in the past, I have a number of brush collections in abr format. If I import them into Designer, I get the message that the import has completed successfully, but no new category appears in the list. The brushes are nowhere to be found. Restarting Designer has no effect. I have successfully imported a brush collection in Affinity format, which appears at the end of the default list of brush categories.
  4. Maybe I've just not found it yet. Is there a tool that will allow me to measure the distance between two points in my image?
  5. Find the lack of a "revert" button to reload the last stored version somewhat irritating. It is a bind having to close the image and then load it again. Particularly, when I'm experimenting I need to scrub the changes and restart from scratch. Reverting to the last clean version is far less accident prone than the steps needed to close (without saving) and reloading.
  6. With the widespread use of alternate Office packages, such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice, it is surprising that Open Document format is not implemented in what is aimed to be the alternative to Microsoft Office or Adobe Illustrator.
