I just wish they would get on with it.  Like others, I purchased Designer and Photo expecting Publisher to follow, but "NO".  I have been a Serif user since PagePlus3 and now use X9 to produce, among other things, our parish magazine.  For me, a suite of compatible programs is essential but Serif seem to be doing all they can to drive me, and doubtless others, away to what I will call the dark side.
 
Come on Serif, let's at least get one complete suite in place before you start expanding your client base.  
 
For years there was only the "PLUS" programs available in Windows and I would suggest that with the Windows user base this was a very profitable and limited line.  Now that they have moved into the Mac arena they appear not to care about the needs of their former supporters.  Pushed back until the end of 2017?  How simply ridiculous.

I'm Sharon and I have been a die hard user of Serif Software for years now but all I did was layout and design with camera ready art.  I would love to be able to draw/create my own art.  If anyone can point me in the direction of step by step tutorials on drawing with Affinity, I would be so grateful.  I'm so happy Serif finally came out with something for Macs...I've been asking them about that for 4 years.  Can't wait till the rest of the suite is available!

Below is my first try at a Manga Girl's face. Not done yet. Helping me to learn vector drawing. One thing I think would be nice to have is a spray can in pixel persona.

Hi I'm Sean Riley,  I have been a long time user of most Serif Products more notably Drawplus and PhotoPlus and I have in the past been a tester for these products, but let my testing badge lapse due to family issues.  I have been using all Serif programs for the last 4-5 years on a MacBookPro via Parallels emulator and I was sent a message today pushing me forward to your beta test link for the new Mac Program that is Affinity. Gotta be a good development in the Serif make up.   I notice my old mate Matt is heading the testing - Great to see your name again bud.
 
I'm 53 in a couple of weeks and out of work at the moment awaiting a knee replacement perhaps later this year/start of next…fingers crossed then I can get back on a building site as an Electrician.  Hence the signing up to this little soiree.
