I love you guys, and I have a big load of respect about you, being a big evangelist of Affinity, but I'm not having a good felling on this. Canva is not what I could name a "professional software" partner. They want to be Adobe, not an adobe alternative.
The first insinuation of subscription model will break any trust on Affinity, and for the love of the goddess, I hope Affinity apps don't become a dumpster of stupid and crappy AI and cheap design tools that Canva really is.
I've read the FAQs you published… they don't give me enough reassessment that nothing is gonna change. Your company and your project is not yours anymore.
    I wish to be wrong.

Good morning all and thank you once again for your participation in the problem I've been having.   Good news, it is sorted!    I chatted with an Affinity agent on FB and after much back and forth he suggested that that if a roll back didn't work that I should try the following -
    1. In the 'Devices' Tab of Colour Management, check 'User my settings for this device' 2. Press "Add" and scroll down the list to find "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" and press "OK" 3. Select the sRGB 2.1 profile and press "Set as default profile" 4. Close the colour management interface and restart your PC 5. Try opening Designer 2 and check one of your images.
Neither I nor my IT guy can understand how this changed.  I wouldn't even have known where to find this option let alone change it.   Hopefully it might help someone who experiences the same problem.   I'm sooo happy!

You may need to Reset your brushes, but this would affect all 3 apps, I think.
Close all the Affinity V2 apps.
Press and hold Ctrl while starting Designer 2. When you get the Clear User Data dialog you can release Ctrl. (Note: you may need to watch the Windows Task Bar for the Designer 2 icon and click on it to get that dialog. But keep Ctrl held until you have the dialog.)
Uncheck everything, and Check "Reset Brushes". Then click Clear.
You will have to reinstall any brushes that you installed manually. And if you've installed any via the Account dialog you may need to use Account again and tell it to reinstall them.
