When I load several photos at one time into Affinity Photo, they appear across the top in what looks like random order. It would be most helpful if they would load in either the order in which I had selected them (Windows) or in alphs-number order. Am I doing something wrong?
Edit: I mostly use Photo to edit groups of photos, so this issue is not trivial for me.

This doesn't seem to be supported natively, however I have a suggested work around...
Draw curve. Make it dashed. Duplicate. Make copy solid and add taper. Use the tapering copy to mask the dashed original.
Looks better with square ends than rounded, and is a hassle to reshape curve (as the mask doesn't reshape at the same time).
But it kinda sorta almost works, and may get you out of a scrape.

See, I created two documents for you, assuming that you are using a home printer to create your greeting cards … hope that was what you were looking for … :)
(Make sure to set the guides and the margins visible. Something like that should work.)

If you want to use a specific ratio, set the Mode to Custom Ratio, enter the ratio you want in the input fields and drag the grid corner handle on canvas to set the crop area you want (the grid should be locked to the ratio you've set in the input fields).There's no way to set a specific dimension this way (other than draggingg the grid corner handle) because you are using a ratio for the crop, not specific dimensions. Photoshop does the same when you set a ratio. Am i missing something?

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
No Affinity Designer doesn't support wrapping text around objects. For simple designs you may use the workaround explained here.

I have some difficulty understanding what you are asking. I suppose there is a language problem.
The shapes of an object, like dot fields, can be placed as a masking layer attached to a colored object. A gradient filled rectangle with a mask of 3 grouped dotted lines. Appearing like this:
But I also don't understand "cannot find patterns." Designer does not have a library of designs. You can make your own, and store them for use in other projects.
