I agree, the random nature in which the files are imported seems an area of oversight. a small one, but one nonetheless.

Awesome, cant wait. I am using the trial version, and was disappointed that I couldnt do path text. I use that a LOT for my personal/professional designs... thanks Dave and Matt!

Hello, I am using the Trial version to see if I like the functionality of Affinity Design. One of the first things I tried to do was type our a letter, give it a stroke of a different color, then "Expand Stroke"... But every time I do this, the "expanded" stroke is different in shape from the original stroke; the shape changed, and does not line up with the outer edges of the original letter anymore... help!

I have a similar issue, regarding the "Expand Stroke" functionality. I typed out two letter: J and D I did a "Convert to Curves" for the letter D I added a stroke to the letter D of a different color I then selected "Expand Stroke" the stroke does not line up with the original letters (now curve version) edges... I have no idea how to upload thumbnails/images for increased communication on this issue. note: I am using the trial version, if that makes a difference.
