  1. Attached are a few photos from Publisher, and one photo from Affinity Photo. The two that say "ON," "OFF" were done in Publisher under the Photo Persona. I used the lasso tool do draw a circle and then filled it in with the paint bucket tool. "ON" means, the lasso tool was used with anti-aliasing turned on, and "OFF" is with it turned off. As you can see both ways delivered the same results. Also included is a comparison between the stand-alone Affinity Photo program and Affinity Publisher - Photo Persona. I turned off anti-aliasing in Afphoto and got a really nice jagged edge with no extras around the edges. I then copied and pasted that image into Publisher and got downgraded results with artifacts all over the edge of the drawing. Is there a fix for this so that I can have solid jagged edges in Publisher? Thanks, Paul
  2. I've been having this weird issue when my screen is maximized. I try to move my layers up and down, but when I do they only form sub layers. If I don't have my window maximized the problem goes away. I've attached a video of this occurance. 2020-05-20_09-59-59.mp4
  3. I'm in conversation with Wacom. They seem to think this is a driver issue. It happens not only with Affinity Photo and Deisgner, but also when I use Clip Studio Paint.
  4. Here is a video. I'm using the basic round brush. You'll notice when I start to draw the second guy's face, the brush skips a little bit on a few places. This is mild compared to what it does most of the time. 2020-04-21 09-20-15.mp4 2020-04-21_09-20-15.mp4
  5. For some reason the Paintbrush Tool in Affinity Photo is skipping occasionally when I draw with it. You can see from the attached photo a gap between two of the lines. This happened when I was drawing a line straight through, but without lifting my pen, the brush skipped over a large gap. All of my software and drivers are up to date and I am using: Affinity Photo 1.8.3 MacOS 10.15.4 WACOM Cintiq Pro 24 Thanks for your help, Paul
  6. I updated a couple weeks ago to Mac OS 10.15.4 Catalina and have no longer had this same issue come up.
  7. I'm continuing to have the same issue with 1.8 on my iMac using a Cintiq 24 display. It's like playing Russian roulette whenever I save. I never know when it will happen, but I'm always anticipating it.
  8. I just updated to Affinity Photo 1.7.2 When I drag a .jp2 file into my document, the entire program just quits on me. I then get the notification that Affinity Photo quit unexpectedly. ***works fine when draggin .png and .jpg files into a doccument*** I'm using MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Attached is a video of what happens. 2019-08-28 09-42-43.mp4
  9. Hey, I'm still having this problem occasionally. Has there been a solution to this yet? Thanks, Paul
  10. Thanks for your response! Even when I create a new Save As file it does this. Not every time, but often.
  11. Using Afinity Photo 1.7.1 on an iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6 The problem occurs when I'm working on an illustration and I save my progress. The "Save document" bar appears and never goes away leaving me incapable of continuing with the file. The only remedy I've found is to "Force Quit" Affinity Photo. When I open the file again after force quitting, none of my changes were even saved. As I'm typing this, I't's been 11 minutes since I took the screenshot, and it still frozen on the "Save document" bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  12. Thank you! That's exactly what I needed. Now I can copy and paste without losing quality. Thanks a ton!
