    Hello, I wrapping a book, and a letter many times goes to end of line (this letter is "a" what is "the"). How can I set Publisher for one character drop to new line automatically?

    Hello, I found a little bug in hyphenation settings parameters, just follow these steps: - create a frame text box - insert a long text (will be a few pages) - use Auto text-flow for more pages - select Move tool (pointer) - click anywhere on page, but no in text frame - one click on text frame and see hyphenation settings on right side toolbox. Parameters is inactives - click a text frame on next page, hyphenation parameters will active. - click back to previous text frame, hyphenation parameters active yet - click to outside from text frame, and one click to text frame again, and hyphenation parameters inactive again. And a second problem: when I clicked on text frame, and change hyphenation parameters, this not apply to all pages, but we used auto-flow text frames, and connections is there... Need select all text with text tool, and change hyphenation parameter after selection.

    @pdussart "no spelling/hyphenation etc other that English." For hyphenation use HunSpell, can install this to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries folder as fr-FR, and filenames use "_" and no "-", like: fr_FR.dic, fr_FR.aff, hyph_fr_FR.dic This works!

    Great thanks for hard work, for many fixes, and first look to hyphenation: excellent! Now working correctly with hungarian text! And look new feature: Presets for New Document... Awwwwww! Fantastic! (A little buggy and I will report this, but great feature now!)

    Hmmm.. I have Photo and Designer, but I make a book cover in Photo only, because I have more photo editing tools, but no Bleed settings. I need switch to Designer only for settings bleed parameters. (Will better, if I can see bleed as in Publisher, but ok, will be in Publisher only.) I need a bleed tab/settings to Photo too, and my life will simpliest.

    Thanks for great tip, just I wondered, why replace text what was there to a hidden character. Ok, typography is better with em or en dashes, but these was not changed before converted to PDF in 2014. I think, this document need a repair, and prepare for ebook formats, but I cannot see dashes.

    Maybe connect to this bug: when import a PDF, then hyphen ("-") set to hidden character, not imported as normal hyphen (this is important in hungarian communication in book). I imported a PDF with normal hyphens. Is this Publisher settings, or bug when import? See my preview, here is hidden hyphens after import: And what I see when no turn on hidden characters:

    I'm sad. Installed version 139, and I see hyphenation has changed, but no correct yet I signed what's wrong: Üd-vöz-lé-sem ta-nu-lás-sal Ész-re-vet-tem cso-dás-nak Please check hyphenation more, why not working correctly.     Wrong place and wrong filenames: - move folder to here: C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries - rename aff and dic file to underlined version: ru_RU.aff and ru_RU.dic and restart Publisher. This will working.

    Yes, I confirmed: when exported to All spreads, then bleed is ok, but to All pages, bleed is not. In previous beta version was ok.

    Hmmm.. I tried in version 128 too, but If I select Booklet model in Print window, then will print first page at twice (see in previrew), if first page start at left in document settings. This correct?

    Thanks for information, but I found it, but crop marks no there, where I set margins. I have outside margins to 3mm, and inside margin is 0 for picture book. When I see crop marks, then I get to zero for all marks. Here is my project with margins: And here is my PDF with Crop marks (not on margins): Ok, I tried export with bleeds. I get this PDF. Bleeds on wrong place: on left side crop in 3mm, other sides added more 3mm. And I cannot set negative parameter for cropping, just 0 (this is a minimum): How can I get correct crop to right side, and top, and bottom, but no crop on inside side? Update: OK, I understand, when I turn on Show Bleed option in View menu (what I missed in Photo and Designer): create a project EXACTLY (cropped) size turn on Show bleed, and working with this bleed limits. Great!

    Hello, I made a catalog in Publisher, and use facing pages. I set out margins, but inside not. For printing need crop marks for margins. How can I set crop marks for this parameters? Bleed has set different position, and crop wrong place.

    I hope will this fix, because will a big help for book wrapping. HunSpell is same under LibreOffice and Affinity.

    I used same library under PagePlus, but there was no problem, just with hungarian special characters (öüóőúéáí) where need hyphenation. There was a bugtgy, but only there, not other. With consonant was no problem... But here is problem... I no use LibreOffice. Hyphenation library was no updated from 7 yers ago, but worked in PagePlus. Maybee need a little bug hunting in Publisher for HunSpell compatibility. Update: I installed a Libre Office, and setup document to auto hyphenation, and I see absolutely correct hyphenation (parameters same as in Publisher). See my screenshot.

    Dear developer, I installed HunSpell hungarian dictionaries with hyphenation. I checked auto hyphenation, but many place is buggy. See my attachments, these wrongs on one page, and I have many pages. Good hyphenation: Üd-vöz-lé-sem Ész-re-vet-tem nő-vé-re-met Can check good hungarian hyphenation here (Hungarian scientific Academy site): https://helyesiras.mta.hu/helyesiras/default/hyph I use version 58 now. Please fix hyphenation, because this useless now.

    Yes, after update to version 58, this bug is still there. Here is steps: Create a custom style from No Style and save it, with project Close project and reopen it Go to Text -> Find Click on ANY gear for Paragraph Style, and there is have only custom style. I found a workaround: Click on Text Styles tab on right side panel Check gear again, all style will show

    Ok, I tested with other language: working with English, and Spanish, others not en-US is better like en-GB, nearest to hungarian hyphenation I testing more... Update: I copied hu-HU folder to base install location (C:\Program Files\Affinity\Publisher Public Beta\Resources\Dictionaries) and rename old folder. After start program, hyphenation is working. Delete folder from base path and set folder name back on ProgramData path, and hyphanation working too. Hmmm... An I use these settings now, but I select on a pic a wrong hyphenation. Good is fel-a-jánl-ko-zik. (here is hungarian hyphenation site: https://helyesiras.mta.hu/helyesiras/default/hyph)

    On toolbar not find this button, but there is in Text menu and can create a Keyboard shortcut for checking
