Hi Bruce. by gradient blur, i mean the blue circle images, where users can apply different level of blur between two points of a shape by background blur blend option, i mean something like the yellow and orange circle effect. im aware there are multiple ways to apply this effect in afphoto and also designer, but my suggestion is if there is an individual toggle for this effect, could help speed up workflow alot.

I'd like to see a gradient blur effect where u can adjust the blur effect on different locations of the shape similar to gradient and transparent tool. While at it, a gradient background blur toggle in blend options would be nice too. so if i select a shape and toggle its transparency, the background will be shown blured.

Yes. But that option will effect everything on the software. I’d like to have the freedom of creating and placing nodes anywhere, but my art boards to always align in pixels.

So photos exported in png or jpeg wont have while edges.

Hi, Yes, my current solution is to avoid using effects that become rasterised in PSD and send the PSD export. Works fine so far, the only hassle is to expand pressure curved strokes.

I just tried Vectornator on both ipad and mac. Gotta say. Its no where as stable as affinity. I made several shapes with effects on affinity, exported them to pdf and opened em in vectornator. It couldnt export to a.i, kept loading with no result. So i couldnt get the ai files out of it. But i played around with it and sent u a video of how the effects are translated after importing the pdf version of the affinity file. Sample file and after effect screenshot attached below: They are all vector. With very few having shadow effect Id prefer to have close to the final look done in affinity so when its in AE, only needs to be animated. i could replicate some (not all) effects in AE, but in this case thats not an issue. Yes It appears as a rasterized version of a vector area with white background. The problem is i grouped them in affinity but when i export it to psd or eps, they ungroup in the process. another funny thing i realized, i just drag and dropped this file here from affinity app to browser, it changed its name and format from mask worker.afdesign to affinity photo document.afphoto :)) maskWORKER.eps Affinity Photo Document.afphoto

Hi. I wanted to know the best workflow for using the illustrations designed in affinity for after effects. Sk far i tried different types of eps and psd. They all have issues wither adding white background or rasterizing effects, or ungrouping the grouped items

Please disable the contour blue lines while editing the contour (while mouse or trackpad or pencil is clicked and the we are eyeballing the effect). This way we can have a better estimate on how the contour result is like, you can bring the blue lines back after we stopped the click.

Hi , i noticed a line around the notification field thats specially noticeable on dark background, i thought it would only be like this while rendered on screen, but the exported PNG and JPEG also has this white ish line, Theres no glow, border is transparent and theres also a shadow effect on it which made me conclude all the more reason this could be a bug. I agree at the moment , there are categories after user searches. i shared a screenshot on the post before this one. but i also agree that content requires categories. i have some ideas i want to implement but im waiting to have a feel of the website after it has some content on it. that makes 2 of us
