Hi Rob, It will be possible in the new iPad Version, I am testing currently the beta, and can confirm that rotating the Canvas works with 2 Fingers. cheers, Lutz

Hey, you might have alpha lock enabled, what I also noticed in the preferences in the tools tab, when you have „Touch for gestures only“ activated you can only paint with a stylus like the Apple Pencil on the canvas. Cheers, lutz

Since I am not native English I have a little question, does the new Files App integration mean that the files for example when I open them from iCloud are not stored on the iPad instead are saved back to the cloud? Since that would save me a ton of space. (Unfortunately bought the 64GB iPad ;))

sorry for the late answer, I had to seach it again (watch to much youtube hehe) Its in German. A little explanation, first he does it in Photoshop, after that he does it Affinity (Current Version) and the last one is in the Mac Beta. I like how he makes a drum effect before he uses the Shadow Slider since its really something many people are looking forward too (oh just noticed you are from Germany lol)

Can we expect it for the iPad version as well? I saw the Mac beta in action on YouTube and the shadowslider kicks ass super excited (Sorry I hit the report button, was an accident, thought it’s repost)

First thanks Serif for taking my productivity with an iPad to the next level, there is absolutely no app that comes even close to Affinty Photo, and to be honest I just bought the iPad to have it there after I saw the demo on wwdc. So so since I work with mainly the last 2-3 month I found some things that might be beneficial, from a professional point of view. (Maybe I missed them yet) - the shadow slider in develope persona is in my opinion far to aggressiv, (the main reason why I still use Lightroom) - also since I do mainly landscape the images seem a stop darker then they actually are in develope persona - it would be cool to have some kind of own font management like in Vectornator pro. - also I would love to have an styles or assets management like the library’s in Adobe Cloud. - a shortcut to change the brushsize with the Apple Pencil right on the workspace - to be able to turn on/ off a ruler to the sides of the workspace , I searched every option but maybe missed it if it’s already there. - enter Colors in hexcode Besides the Programm is almost flawless I think so much power on an iPad is insane. I mean it even opens Vektor graphics like a pro and better then every so called Vektor app in the App Store, so thrilled for affinity designer.

Hey everyone, I am Lutz around 30ish and a Freelance web and graphic designer from Germany. I also planning starting to bring Photography into my business. (its a passion since years of mine, but never really tought about it before) I bought my second Apple Produkt this year, just to have Affinity Photo. I was blown away by the speed on the Apple WWDC2017. I love it so much, its really one of the very rare Pro Apps for the iPad. Keep up the great work. While I still use Photoshop and Lightroom on my Workstation, since I am stuck in the subscription.(wont resub at the end and switch complete to Affinity) I am really looking forward for Affinity Designer on iPad. Is there any timeframe we can expect it to be at least beta? I would purchase it already even, so much faith I have in Serif. Oh happy Halloween guys, hope its a nice one for you all
