    OK, issue solved! Did not know that the RAW Engine in Develop Persona Assistant must be set to Serif Labs in order to enable Output as Embedded or Linked. I had wondered why it seemed possible to do this in the past. Must have changed the setting to not Serif Labs to experiment not realizing it changed output to Pixel only. Thanks for your help!

    Appreciate everyone's responses. Yes, I always photograph my paintings using natural north light in RAW and like to adjust temperature using K as it makes more sense to me relative to the natural light. Normally, I do K adjustments, then Develop RAW file. Lately had experimented with developing first, then returning to Develop Persona to make adjustments. Did not know that once, developed RAW file is now RGB and had assumed Develop was non-destructive. Is there any way to retain RAW after Develop?

    White balance temperature in develop persona only shows as percentage, rather than K. Am I missing a setting to switch the slider to K?

    News from Affinity: I'm glad they removed this. I think Unsplash is a rip-off to photographers. It's owned by Getty images who want to profit freely from creators. Pure greed and despicable.

    Yes, opening it from Photos library. Sending it to Affinity Photo using command-return. Saving it as an Affinity Photo file in a folder on internal HD (not in Photos library).

    Not doing that. And just installed latest beta and the same result. It just hangs and this time without even renaming the file at all. Seems to be happening on switching directories, which are all located on the machine's internal drive. Did get this message on reopen and the file is the one that was being saved:

    Wondering if it may be the sequence of steps taken, as the hang happens with more than file: Open tiff Crop and rotate in develop persona Photo persona Duplicate image layer Add exposure and curves adjustment layers Save As Rename file in Save As dialogue Select folder location Hangs before committing save Hang is intermittent and does not happen on reopen with recovery file, which has the develop crop and not the persona adjustment layers.
