  1. I'm experiencing an issue specifically in Pixel Mode where, when I draw with the paint brush, the lines don't appear until I mouse over a particular section. I have attached a video (sorry for the quality) showing what happens in pixel mode compared to a basic program like Paint, where the lines show up instantly. I just tried the vector brush tool in Vector Mode and that seems to draw live, so it's only Pixel Mode where I'm experiencing this issue. The line I drew is there, but it doesn't appear until it's hovered over in some way. Does anyone have insight or a fix for this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated! IMG_3069.mp4
  2. Since updating to Affinity Designer 1.9.2, I've been experiencing an issue where approximately 60% of the time after saving my document, I will not be able to click on or use any of the tools, toolbar, or studio widgets. I can move my artboard around but I can't perform any functions and upon closing AD, it will run as a background process. I'm not able to re-open AD until I open the Windows task manager and end AD as a background process. Specs and Details: Windows 10 Home Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz 16GB RAM, 64-bit operating system
  3. Hi! As a feature request, it would be so helpful to be able to break down colour groupings within a single Application Palette or Document Palette. For example, I'd like to group my primary colours on their own at the top, and then create secondary and tertiary groups/rows for tints and shades of the same colours, or secondary colours, etc. Being able to create an organized hierarchy within a palette rather than having a mass grouping of all saved swatches would be immensely helpful! Thanks.
  4. Hey Dan, In Tools, the Tablet Input Method is currently set to low precision, which could very well be the problem! Would you recommend high precision or the windows ink setting?
  5. I've started to experience consistent glitches when using my pen in Designer. I'm working on an HP Spectre that folds from laptop to tablet and until now, I haven't experienced many issues drawing this way in Designer. Lately when I'm in Pixel mode using the brush tool, I'll have to hold my pen closely over (but not on) my screen for about 10-15 seconds for the brush cursor to appear. If I try drawing before it appears, nothing happens, and sometimes it won't appear at all. When it finally does appear and I'm able to draw something with the brush, more often than not it starts cutting up the line I'm drawing like it's jumping, but I haven't lifted the pen. Also sometimes while I'm drawing, it's almost like a second cursor comes in and hovers over buttons/menu items to show the hover description, but I'll still be drawing. My pen seems to be working fine doing other things so I don't think that's the problem, but who knows. As a side note, is there a way to turn off the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the window, or improve gestures? My hand touches it often and it makes my artboard jump all over the place. Any ideas of how I can remedy these issues are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  6. Hi there, I seem to be having the same problem. I've placed an .eps file of a simple gradient logo into the document, however when I export to PDF (print), it does one of two things depending on what I choose in the advanced settings: 1. If I choose 'Rasterize: Nothing' from the dropdown menu, I get my clean vector lines but no gradient, and; 2. If I choose to leave the advanced settings as is, I keep the gradient but the logo becomes pixelated because it was rasterized in the export process. I ensured both times that 'Allow advanced features' was checked. Any other ideas on how I can export this entire file while still keeping the vector gradient? Thank you!
  7. Eno, Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I was watching Affinity videos today and saw one regarding different artboard setups. You can choose to either copy the same settings, or create new document presets for each individual artboard (bleeds included). Might be helpful! https://vimeo.com/channels/affinitydesigner/189788828
