  1. I'm new to using the book function in Publisher. I've watched the videos and my Publisher does not act like the ones on Youtube, which neatly renumber.

Here is what I have and that is the page numbers are all screwed up.

Even though the update is all checked. I've clicked the synchronize and it still does not work.

I've gone into the section manager and made the pages right. I put them in the book and they become like this above.

If you are using books, can the section manager not be used?

Also, how do you reset the section manager if it's not what you want. I mean how do I force the page numbering if it's grayed out because it's in a book? I would like to start the page numbers over so that Chapter 1 starts with page 1 rather than starting at page 7.

    Thanks for the help!

  2. I don't know if this is part of the same problem or not, but I'm getting a funky exporting of a warp group. I'm using the generic "PDF for Print" export setting. Perhaps related? image.thumb.jpeg.b0e3815adc1df10378480f3f71cdfa9c.jpeg

  3. Copy and pasting the objects from Designer 2.5.7 into Publisher 2.6 will also cause it to crash.

Copy the objects individually will work, until you attempt to nest into the same layers that it was. Immediate crash too.

One other thing is that cropped images are handled differently than before and I wonder if that has something to do with it. Pictures are now masked instead cropped. Selecting the item with the child object in shows and manipulates the whole thing as if it were outside of the parent.

As often said, working on clouddrives like dropbox or whatever is a bad idea.

Did you try to download the file to a folder not synced to the Cloud?

This is not on the cloud. Though, I seem to have less problems on the cloud than to a server. It only seems to be one computer now that is having the issues. We'll keep watching it.
