To be fair to the Serif Team, the innumerable issues with Wacom tablets and drivers is pretty much legendary! Just Google it.... It took me over 3 months just to get a basic Bamboo to work in Win7 and I count myself fortunate! P

Just spent the last 3 hours playing with various layers, filters etc. On using various brushes I adjusted flow/opacity throughout. It appeared to me that the flow/opacity on AP is a good deal 'weaker' than PS. In summary I was trying 10/10 for fine work and found it was more like 5/5 on PS. Appeared similar ratio through the range. Just a FYI - Paul

See attached screen shot. I attempted to use a colour picker within the HSL Colour Wheel in Layer Effects GO. It does not appear to function? EDIT: Appears same issue with Colour Overlay in Layer Effects.... Please advise, cheers Paul

See attached before and after images. I create a DOF Live Filter - preview on screen and in Navigation fine with correct DOF. I Right Click and select 'Refine Filter'. The initial full screen view then shows NO DOF effect. When I amend any values the image does not change. When I APPLY the screen then renders the 'correct' image - with adjustments (I think!) I have a Bamboo Touch. It works perfectly, as does the pen and press keys. I suggest you compare the (very simple) Bamboo Preferences utility from Wacom against the other models and perhaps remove options to match the functions then test. NOTE - I switch OFF the TOUCH function on this Waco. Cheers, Paul

I create a mask on a Mask Layer. I right click for Refine Mask. I adjust FEATHER to say 10px. Apply. When I re-select Refine Mask the FEATHER is reset to 0px and not retained. I have to reselect it. I assume all the other values (border, smooth etc.) are also reset? I expect my prior values to be retained until I amend them, if at all.. Cheers, Paul

I load Background pixel layer, I select the FST. I set Tolerance to 4%. Mode as Add. As I select the area (drag the mouse) the Tolerance value rises as I move. It makes selection impossible. If I just Click into each area the Tolerance remains the same! Any ideas? Thanks, Paul

I had problems trying to REUSE a mask I had on an HSL layer to do a curves adjustment and then I realised; 1. Click the HSL layer with mask and Click SELECT>Selection from layer (Main window will show marching ant selection) 2. Select layer>New Adj Layer>Curves Adj Layer 3. Make adjustment You will see a Curves and HSL layer each with the same mask. Neat, P

Under Brush - Selection the RESET button appears inconsistent. I assumed it RESET all value to Factory. It appears it only Resets the value slider of each property (size etc.) back to what it was WHILE the dialogue box is open. I cannot see the use? When you close the box it is rest to the new value. I assumed reset set all values back including the Type (none, random etc.) and the profile curve.. Thanks P

After opening/closing ,maybe 10 images to test various Photo workflows, I created a QM and then added an HSL adjustment as per attached image. The NAVIGATOR screen bottom right clearly showed the adjustment, the main screen did not. A bug or my mistake? cheers, Paul

I think, bottom line is that the expectations for a new product like Photo are high. Users expect functionality AND Speed.... P

In response to Patrick - '... we will try to improve the user experience before release while we fix the more obvious bugs.' Having spent 30 years in Software Dev. If you have not Produced a Product Technical Architecture that is designed to minimise resources (see posts about RAM usage etc.) then the UE is not going to improve much. I REALLY hope I am proven wrong! I have an old Satellite Pro - AMD Dual-Core Processor E1-1200 APU with AMD Radeon™ HD 7310 Graphics, 250Gb SSD and 8Gb RAM - everything flies in LR and Photoshop. Affinity, however is another matter. I will be gutted if I have to spend another 4 years on ADOBE, but if it spending £8 a month with them or £600+ on a new laptop I don't need for Affinity...... P

Hi, minor issue, but when I undock a panel (see image 1) - with focus on Navigator - then I click inside panel to , say, Transform - the NEXT time I click Navigator it has down-sized. Preferably it stays the original size.. Thanks, Paul

Hi, just loaded 3 x 12.18MP images (HDR stack). I amended no settings after the default loading of these images. The left panel shows presets. When I select one - eg. Dramatic - the main panel image looks nothing like the preset whatsoever (main window image is much lighter/less contrasty) !? Am I missing something - should I reset anything?
