    You can download the old styles from the attachment on this post. You can them import them into 1.7.

    I whipped up a couple of rope brushes for yah. Hopefully, this will work for you.
     
    1. Click to download the Mixmediasalad.com Rope Brush
     
    2.Unzip the file.
     
    3. Open Affinity Designer.
     
    4. Open the brush palette in the Draw Persona 
     
    5. Click the options icon in the top right corner of the palette.
     
    6. Select import brushes from the drop down.
     
    7. Navigate to where you saved the brush file.
     
    8. enjoy

    Hi, MusashiKun,
     
    AD does not yet have a perspective or mesh warp tool for vectors. It is on the roadmap for inclusion by version 2. Many people have made the request. AP does do perspective and distorts  for pixel images.
     
    I started using Illustrator regularly back in '90, and tools like you describe weren't available for maybe another 10 years. From my perspective, AD is coming along quite quickly.
