  1. Looking in Font Book, I see there are copies of Times New Roman (and styles) in lots of different places. I also seem to have a folder of MS Office fonts, which must have been acquired many years ago and not removed. Some are OpenType and some TrueType. Can anyone suggest how to tidy this up and maybe clear up the problem? Thanks, Paul
  2. OK. I know it as Font Book. That makes sense. No, I do not have any Microsoft software installed, so I presume it is the standard fonts installed with the system. I will investigate further later today. Thanks everyone.
  3. Thanks. Sorry for the delay; been out to eat. You will need to explain the Font Manager. Is this the list of fonts in Publisher, top left on the bar above the document? Or is it part of the Mac system? How do I disable fonts? Paul
  4. Thanks for your reply. I am on Mac (see post title). It worked OK for me earlier this week, but not after I upgraded to the new beta yesterday. According to Acrobat Pro it is Helvetica, and it is plain, not italic. I checked the original Publisher, and I get the same result whether I use Command-I or italic text style. Paul
  5. Hi all. In the latest version of Publisher (2.4.0 (2222)), when I export a group of pages to PDF, all italics have changed from Times New Roman to some other sans serif font (Helvetica?). This is regatrdless of the setttings and opening in both Preview and Acrobat. Bold and other styles are unaffected. Any ideas?
  6. Sorry, I meant Place (not Import). The problem seems to be with anything involving bringing up a Finder window. Paul
  7. I am having all the same issues with all Affinity suite apps running under Sonoma beta. In case nobody has mentioned it yet, Export causes a crash (before actually exporting), Save As.. causes a freeze (which does not appear as an unresponsive app), and Import causes a crash as well. Paul
