Just got the public beta of 15.4 (24E5222f), and Save now works! I am still getting the long time to open certain files, but that might be a separate problem. Paul

Just to confirm what I reported before and confirms what others are finding. My setup is: Intel MacBook Pro (2019) running Sequoia 15.4 beta (24E5206s), and Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 beta (3134). There are actually two problems related to the upgrade to Mac OS 15.4 on Intel. The first is critical: nothing can be saved. Any changes to the file and then Save (or Save As...) results in a hung progress bar. The second happens straight after the upgrade (it happened after the last upgrade); one file (not necessarily the same one), but not all, will not load for an hour or so. It does eventually. It suggests that Affinity is doing some complicated housekeeping in the background. Once it has loaded, everything is OK again (until the next upgrade). I hope Serif can sort this out very soon: without Save we are completely stuck. Thanks all! Paul

Odd thing. It would not open the moved file, but opens the original fine. However, I am still stuck with being unable to save any changes. It sticks on Save document with the progress bar at the far left. I have been using DropBox (which, as I understand it, is actually on the hard drive and copies to the cloud) for many years without problems. Paul

Publisher not saving for me. Just updated Mac OS to Sequoia 15.4 Beta (24E5206s), and Publisher will not save my file. It sticks with the progress bar right at the left under Save document. I tried moving the document elsewhere and tried Save As... and the progress bar sits on the right-hand side but does not finish. Publisher 2.6.0 (3134) Paul

Hi MikiTO Thanks. I tried that. Nevertheless, it eventually did open, after about half an hour. So I think it might have been that the newly updated 2.6.0 beta took rather longer with this file than the others. It is one I am compiling an index for, so is full of index markers, which might have slowed things down. Best, Paul- 42 replies
