Maultierhirsch reacted to MEB in Convert Adjustment Layer Mask into "Normal" Mask
    Hi Maultierhirsch,
Go to the channels panel, select the corresponding adjustment alpha channel, right-click on it and select Create Mask Layer. You can then duplicate the mask as needed and attach/nest it to another adjustment. To clear the mask from an existing adjustment, right-click the respective adjustment alpha in the Channels panel and select Clear.

Maultierhirsch got a reaction from davemac2015 in Superresolution
I am also currenty working on a work flow for super resolution.
This is what I came up with:

Record a macro after opening a file of the series (View-> Studio -> Macro activates the side panel)
    - Press the red record button in the macro panel
    - Apply the changes you want to be made (adjustments + resize document)
    - Press the "Add To Library" button in the macro panel (the one with the three squares and the plus)
       - Use the category "Macro" and give it an name you can later easily recognize what it does (e.g. "Super Resolution Preps")

Now go to File -> New Batch Job
    - Hit the "Add" button and add all photos you want to be processed
    - On the lower right side of the dialog under "Available Macros" select Macros in the drop down menu and chose the macro you created. Hit Apply.
    - On the upper right side select the file type you want your photos to be saved as (but not the affinity format because you cannot add them to a stack later on)
    - Hit OK and get a coffee

After everything finished, go to File -> New Stack
    - Add the files processed by the macro
    - Choose the aligning options you want
    - Hit OK and get another coffee
    - In the "Layers" tab on the "Live Stack Group" choose the blending method you like (the symbol next to the check mark)

    hope that helps a little

    Greetings
    Matt

    Thanks Bhikkhu,

This looks like a bug - we will add it to the list.

Actually it says "Reopen document on startup" without implying which one at all. I have edited my previous post accordingly.

"Restore last session" would be more appropriate if it could do more, or perhaps "Reopen documents on startup" if that's the best it can be made to do.

Maultierhirsch reacted to Centranthus in Mouse wheel zoom inconsistent
The factors for zooming out and zooming in should be reciprocals of each other:
    Zooming out: 100% * 0.8 = 80% zoom
And to reciprocate you divide by 0.8, not multiply by 1.2
    So Zooming in: 80% / 0.8 = 100% zoom

Maultierhirsch reacted to St3v3 in Mouse Wheel Zoom Disables Mouse Wheel Scroll
Thanks for the reply Mark. My point is that checking the box should NOT change the behavior of Shift+Mouse Wheel.

Another way of saying that is this...
Desired behavior with "Use mouse wheel to zoom" checked
    Mouse Wheel (MW) = Zoom
    Shift MW = Scroll Left/Right
    Ctrl MW = Scroll Up/Down
Actual behavior with "Use mouse wheel to zoom" checked Mouse Wheel (MW) = Zoom
Shift MW = Zoom             <--- NOT CORRECT
    Ctrl MW = Scroll Up/Down
