  1. Works relatively here, too. To do what you want. select both images and then the Alignment icon > Make same (select the width icon). You can then use Transform to specify the width you want.
  2. It should be here: C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo
  3. You're never too old - don't be defeatist!
  4. Was this in Publisher? Interesting, as I had something similar recently and just assumed I'd clicked something by mistake. Following with interest. Providing a sample file would help. I think.
  5. C:\Program Files\Affinity
  6. I hadn't seen this one, but it does seem pretty conclusive!!! 🤣🤣
  7. SALE - yes. Star-spangled banner and/or fireworks - tenuous (for me). But I can sort of see why you might have assumed it was related to 04 July on your side of the pond.
  8. Like this? Thank you so much for the benefit of your wisdom. I feel so much better for being chastised. Have a nice day!
  9. I think your desire to purchase in a sale is perfectly valid. 😉
  10. It was the one beofre mine when I started typing it. Not hard to work out, though.
  11. You're stretching it a bit to see that as fireworks! When your world is US-centric, you may well see things differently, and sometimes you'll see things that aren't actually there. There's a whole world beyond the borders of the US that isn't US-centric, though.
  12. There is no Document menu in Designer - I would argue for its removal in Publisher so that everything is under File, as it is in Designer, for consistency. However, document setup is quicker to access from the toolbar in both apps.
  13. The company selling Affinity software is called Serif, not Affinity Group. There are lots of Affinity Groups online, none of which have anything to do with Serif. If this were a payment for Affinity sofware, it would say Serif as the company.
  14. What's the name of the payee next to the payment?
  15. Have a look at Patrick Connor's comments in this thread, and also those of the new Head of Enablement at Serif:
  16. So glad it's keeping you amused.
  17. @Sharon Cruz Are you sure that it isn't a Canva subscription that you are being charged for? If so, you need to contect them, not Affinity.
  18. What's the name that appears next to this amount on your statement eaxch month? As others have said, Serif do not offer any subscripotion packages.
  19. I think it's trolling, myself, and reported it as such. Clearly the moderators have given it the benefit of the doubt, but I agree that anyone so vehemently disaffected ought to be cutting ties with Affinity, as it is definitrly not the software for them.
  20. Maybe I am missing something here, as I have not been using the Affinity suite in anger for very long, but if I were contemplating a page layout task using photos that I had taken, I would approach it one of two ways. EITHER 1. Process or batch process (develop) my RAW files in APhoto (or other photo editor) and save them in an appropriate format. 2. Use APub to collate the photos into a one-page layout. OR 1. Collate my photos (e.g. JPEG or other ready-to-use format) on the APub page. 2. Use the APhoto Persona to fine tune the editing of the photos from within APub. Under no circumstances would I try to collate the images in a photo editor, neither APhoto nor any other photo editing software, as this is not intended to be their primary use and as such, they are not best suited to the task, which is essentially a page layout task, not a photo processing or editing task. Given the misconception here about the nature of the APhoto tool (sorry, @Petar Petrenko), I think it highly unlikely that the developers would even contemplate this request to remove functionality from the Crop tool in APhoto. As @PaulEC says, adding extra functionality would be fine, but taking it away would not. I think it's more a case of workflow realignment to make sure the right tool is being used at each stage of the job.
  21. It would not bother me. But even better would be to have a toggle in settings so that the user could choose whether to display success messages as toast or as dismissible.
