  1. This is now working and was solved on this thread
  2. I tried again this morning and still no luck. Oh well, at least I can still use Publisher on my Mac for now.
  3. okay thanks. I've attached one of them - there are loads there as I've tried so many times Setup.log SetupUI.log
  4. I've just installed 206 it too and it works fine. 221 works on for me as well Correction: It worked until I uninstalled it - it won't work again now.
  5. Thanks Patrick. Done all you suggested and still the same problem. My partner has the same problem on his windows laptop too, so it's not just me.
  6. Hi Patrick, Do you mean uninstall the whole program and then install the update on it's own? Does it work as the complete program? In other words - can I install version 227 on it's own?
  7. Hi All, Just tried to install version 227 and it gets as far as the ‘Do you want to run this program yes/no’, On clicking ‘yes’ the box disappears and nothing else happens. I have downloaded it twice in case there was corruption - from the forum and from within the program (version 222). I also tried to 'Run as Administrator, with no luck. Help please.
  8. Designer really needs this tool and also the envelope tool (like in DrawPlus). I use these a lot for text. Please Affinity?
  9. Hi Simon, I made it in colour originally, but I print my books in black and white, so switched to greyscale. It's easy enough to change again, should I need to, because the layers are well organised. Martigny
  10. Thank you Matt. This second image was made in Affinity Designer too, but I had to do the actual magnification Corel as I couldn't find a way to do it in Affinity.
  11. I thought I'd share this greyscale digital mosaic with you all. It took ages to make and has 1829 pieces in it - no brushes used. Tough to get the tiles looking realistic but I'm happy with the way it turned out. It's an illustration for a book I'm currently writing. Image quality has been reduced for fast loading.
