Is it possible to add a combo box to allow the users to select between offered choices (AD, APh, APu...) instead of tags?

Having in mind such a long pause since last Designer Beta, maybe we could expect a supprise and it could even be arrowheads in the upcoming update?

Hi, firstly it crashed when I clicked "New" and then "OK", until I saw that the problem is in page size (see attachment). But, I choosed some other page size and then back again to preffered one and the problem was solved. untitled.afphoto

Here are three different formats of simple drawing in Gravit. PDF and PNG are OK, but Designer does not open SVG properly. proba.pdf proba.svg

@SrPx: Thanks for your advice. And yes, the machine is NLO. Blazing fast, quiet and stable. BTW, I started using Gravit (free of charge). I love its interface, it's dealing with palettes and tons of options. :)

I already have both -- Photo and Designer. I want betas because I use them for work and they have some new features and bug fixes.

I've never complained about their responsiveness on the forum. They spoiled us offering every week a new beta version. But, there is over a month since last beta, and it not works any more.

Hi, I noticed (on Windows) where Affinity apps are installed that you have a "Common" folder, but there are only .DLL files inside. So, I would like to suggest if possible to add all 3rd party plug-ins, pencils, brushes and other similar files in that folder (maybe in subfolders?) regrardless the application that use them. The benefit of this will be: 1. The user will have to install all these files only once and use it in all 4 apps now (6 in the future); 2. Easy for back-up, installing new ones (by simply copying them in appropriate folders) and reinstalling when needed.

If you read my #1 post you would see that I just suggested this folder to be used for something more. It could save time installing all add-ons once instead of 4 times. Soon it will be 6 times when Publisher comes out. :D

As I can see Lee is moderator (of the forum I presume?) and as such, he is not(?) app developer. I expect somebody of Affinity dev team to exactly answer my question without "I think...", "I suppose..." or something like that. :)

@meinbier please, don't change the subject. I expect answers to my posts. If you want to ask something different, please start your own topic.

But affinity team can make it as a storage folder and put all 3rd party add-ons inside and group them in subfolders. Once they are there you can easily "install" other plug-ins by drag and drop them in appropriate folder and you can easily save them for future use (backup, install, reinstall...).

@MikekPhoto: 1. You can join the PDFs with Adobe Acrobat, 2. You can find an internet site where you can do that 3. You can open AD artboards with the document size + bleed size and inform the print studio about the bleed size.

Hi Lee, can you tell me where in my post I mentioned deleting or removing "Common" folder? I think you totally misunderstood my post. ;)
