  1. Where we can find which function can we use in expressions?
  2. Maybe it is time both versions (beta and retail) to be joined into one for Designer and Photo. Seems they are equally unstable and a little bit risky. I've never seen another company to have separate beta and retail version.
  3. Hi, please, add this feature in Designer: when click anywhere on a line to add a node, this node to be moved to the center and separate (not to break it!) it to 2 equal parts. Another click adds 2 nodes add separates the line on 4 equal parts and so on.
  4. Hi Owenr, may I ask you to explain it step by step? I can't follow you. Thanks.
  5. Thanks FirstDefence. I thought there could be something I didn't find out.
  6. Hi, it would be a nice feature if we could rotate, flip... objects from their own rotation center when they are selected instead of doing it one by one. If there would be plus an option for random angle of rotation it could be even nicer.
  7. Hi, I converted a few vector objects into shapes with "Geometry > Add" and add a picture as a child layer to get this effect. I can move any shape if I select it and drag it by clicking on one of its nodes. The question is: is it possible, somehow, all objects to stay as objects without converting them into shapes in case of further resizing, rotating, changing their shape with control points?
  8. And what is bad about that? You have everthing by your hand.
  9. If you are a painter, would you keep all your colors, tools and materials in different rooms and walk with the canvas from one room to another to finish the piece?
  10. Thank you DutchShader, I really learned something new. But, my suggestion seems more logical and intuitive.
  11. Hi, When there are too much artboards you must scroll to find it in the "Layers" panel. So, it would be nice when you double click on the artboard name which is on the workspace, to fit that artboard to screen size and to bring it in focus in "Layers" panel.
  12. And who decides which functions are used more frequently? I, for example, use distribute functions as frequently as align ones.
  13. It will not take more room then the buttons from the pen tool need.
  14. They can borrow some ideas from the software giants like Adobe and Quark. Their context toolbars are in two rows and there is still enough workspace.
  15. As you can see a half of them are already on the context tool bar. There is enough room.
  16. Hi, when multiple objects are selected, arrange options are shown on the Context Toolbar, but not all of them. Why should we have to click on the Arrange icon if we want to distribute objects or choose additional options? Wasn't there enough room on the Context Toolbar?
  17. Well, it does not work like this to me. Can anyone explain what's the problem?
  18. Affinity will be always around and the other will have to adopt to new file formats. Goodbye, Adobe.
  19. Why so much talking about TIF? We have now a APhoto file format and when the trio will be completed (soon), we can forget TIF, PSD and other bitmap and vector formats. There are online converters which can help to convert files to the best file format that Affinity trio can accept.
  20. Lets take this situation in consideration: 1. There are only swatches -- no color chords at all. 2. I create c0 m100 y0 k0 color and click on "Create color chords > triads" 3. Three (white) colors are created c0 m0 y0 k0 and the other two are h0 s0 l100 and h120 s0 l100. 4. I click again on "... > triads" and now I get the correct color chord c0 m100 y0 k 0 -- h60 s100 l50 -- h180 s100 l50. 5. Now, I create c100 m0 y100 k0 and when i try to create triads I get the same color chord from step 4. 6. I must click once again on "...triads" to get the correct color chord (green, blue, red).
  21. When you select/change a font in a text, the font in a Glyph Palette must change automatically. And not only the font, its traits also (bold, italic...).
