Is not one thing there are number of glitches. One was that I created a group of masks and when I tried to subtract a portion of the image with brush using black it was not responding I had to quit the program and restart again to get it work. Also yesterday I made a black and white layer with red channel and blended it with overlay. Later I clicked on the layer and it was not responding and did not show the changes to the image, again I had to quit the software and restart . There are a lot of cases of not being responsive, whether I am using a adjustment layer of other tools. All together it’s a very powerful program certainly a lot better than Photoshop for Ipad which is very primitive.

HEX number in color studio does not match.

Thanks for your replies. The app’s color profile is set to ProPhoto. The document’s profile is also ProPhoto and RGB16. I noticed that the only way to get the correct color from the entered RGB numbers, in color studio, is to work in sRGB color space. -
I have been traveling overseas and my iPad Pro has been the only means to process my images for exhibitions IMG_8694.MOV .I have been working with Lightroom and photoshop for many years but unfortunately, or fortunately, iPad version of photoshop is extremely primitive thus I have purchased Affinity Photo, desktop and iPad versions, and I love it, i haven’t been able to try the desktop version yet.The iPad version is a great image processing software, however there are some problems and this is one of them. When I enter a HEX number the color does not match the number. If I pick the color next to the color picker, in color studio, the color is correct but the number changes to a different number. Also there are, as I mentioned in a different post, some discrepancies between the color that you pick and the RGB number for the color.

Thanks for your response . Later I noticed that if you first change the DPI and accept it and go back and change the measurements to inch and accept it then on the ruler you see the correct changes . Also the Resource Manager reflects the correct measurements/Correct DPI. So at this point this is the only way to resize an image correctly. As far as DPI/PPI there are number of text books on color theory that they use DPI and PPI interchangeably, so it not a big issue. actually it becomes more important to distinguish one from another when it comes to printing your images. Thanks again.

With the resample off changing the DPI doesn’t show any changes in document size the size still remains same. For example a document that is 20inx30in at 72 DPI. Will remain the same size at 360dpi. Also, why DPI it should be PPI wich is a correct way of showing the image resolution, Pixel Per Inch.DPI usually refers to dot per inch wich is for printers. The sliders also don’t show the changes you make on the tool bar. Thanks
