Thanks Patrick. The problem persisted but a mod was able to help me resolve it earlier this morning.

To the best of my knowledge, the only downloaded content I've ever used are purchased fonts. However, I will be happy to report any further occurrences of this. Besides this issue, I couldn't be happier with Publisher. I split my time between Indesign (work-related=30%) and Publisher (everything else=70%) and am always impressed with what your team has created. Thank you.

My crash occurs the moment I try to open or create any Publisher 2 file. I'm not using any tools.

I previously reported this problem with 2.0.3. When opening a new or existing Publisher 2 file, the app instantly crashes. I've created a new user profile on my mac and under that profile I can open/create as expected (compelling me to switch back and forth between profiles). I can open/create legacy files in Publisher 1. System: MacBook Pro 1.4 GHz Quad-core i5 running Ventura 13.1

Looking elsewhere in the forum, I've found other people having this problem. They suggested creating a new user profile on the computer. I've confirmed that creating a new profile will allow me to open and create files. This isn't a great solution (I have to transfer all my resources over to this new user account), but it allows me to keep working... kind of. I'm thinking of switching back to Publisher 1. It didn't have any of these issues and I'm not really experiencing a huge benefit to Publisher 2. This is so disappointing.

MacBook: 2019 13" 1.4 Ghz Intel i5 running Ventura 13.1 In Publisher 1, I can open all legacy files and create new. Publisher 2 (both 2.0.0 and 2.0.3): Opening files from any location (I've tried both local and via Dropbox) will launch the splash screen and then crash the app. Otherwise, app opens allowing me to attempt to open, open recent, or create new file. Attempting to execute any of those options crashes the app. Yes, Thursday evening and all Friday morning the app was running perfectly, opening, closing, and reopening files. Friday mid-morning I did a final export on a book and book cover, and shutdown the app for lunch. When I came back, I attempted to open another project but couldn't open anything. I'm going to be sick if I can't get access to all my current projects. The thought of recreating everything in InDesign makes me sick.

I've attempted an uninstall/re-install back to version 2.0.0. The immediate crash upon open or creation is happening.

I'm having a similar problem. Publisher 2 2.0.3 crashes upon opening or creating any file. Legacy files can be opened in Publisher 1, but the same files crash Pub 2.

The software has been working perfectly over the last 24 hours. Suddenly it crashes upon opening an existing file or creating a new one.
