Hi, I can‘t find the the option to define the default save location in the settings as it is described in help. if i remember correctly, the option was available in an earlier version. does anyone have a tip where this setting is new to find? version: affinity publisher ipad 2.0.4.1701 affinity designer ipad: 2.0.4.5 affinity photo: 326 best regards reto

thanks for the explanations and the sample file. i also started naming the objects on the master pages in my file, but i thought it was for info purposes only, but if i understood you correctly the objects will be ordered according to the naming. i will build my file accordingly. thanks for the inputs. best regards reto

I have a document with master pages. when I insert a new page the content on the following pages gets mixed up. All the fields are getting mixed up. If I try to fix the mix up and add the masterpage again, the field order gets fixed but the content is still in the wrong fields. The content from masterpage field A is in field B and vice versa. The bug only appears when I insert a single page. Inserting works good when I insert a double page. My first try for a workaround was that I insert a double page and the delete one page. This results in the same mess up as inserting a single page. Any advice for a fix or a workaround? Best regards Reto

hi lee, the ipad is not the problem, the file is crashing on the desktop version.

when i open the file on my other mac, everything works fine. so i think the problem might have something to do with a log file or cache. Is there a option to clear the cache oder delete the logs? best regards reto

Hi, I have a file that I was working on without any trouble for a while. After after placing some affinity designer files the file won't open anymore or more specific the file open in affinity publisher but crashes after a few seconds. Any suggestions? I had a similar bug on the iPad version a in a earlier version this was fixed with the latest update. Crash report in attachment thanks reto affinity-pub-crash20230314.txt

Hi Patrick thanks for your info. The release 2.0.4 fixes the problem for me, I can work on my file without crashes. Thanks for the fix.

Hi Jon, thanks for your answer - I've uploaded the file. I found out that when I delete all placed/linked graphics I can open the file on the iPad. But when I replace them - via iPad or via Desktop - the iPad app crashes on opening the document. When I replace them on the iPad App I can work on the file as long as the file is open as soon as I once leave the file and go to the start screen I can't open it again due to the crashing app. Working on the file via desktop version works properly. The file is saved on my iCloud so are the linked files. File is stored in a folder called Affinity Publisher and the linked files are stored in the folder autogenerated by the Designer and Photo App.

ipad with ipadios 16.1 Publisher 2.0.3 I‘ve been working on a file (created on ipad) without any problems - yesterday I‘ve updated A-Pub via apple app store, the new version is always crashing when opening the existing file. Is anybody else experiencing this issue/bug? No changes were done in the file just the app update. The file works fine on the mac version.
