  1. Hi Stokerg, that is a great hint. But I have a further question regarding gradient styles: When I create a gradient with global colour fills and add it to the style panel, all further chnages within my gradient will not apply to the style. For example, if I use the same gradient like ten times in my document and like to change the gradient, the chanegs made will not apply to all instances of the gradient. I have to create a new style and use select same. In Adobe I had the gradient in my colour pallet and could make global changes to my gradient. Is there an elegant way to solve this, without the workaround? Thanks a lot, Nadine
  2. It is more used as a kind of footer, which is used on every page/artboard and slightly adapted (such as date, scale, etc). Something you would put on a master page in Adobe InDesign...
  3. Hey Walt, thanks a lot for your quick reply. Is there a kind of workaround to achieve what I want? Or is it simply impossible?
  4. Hi all, is it possible to copy and paste guides on the exact same position on another artboard? Like I am used to in Illustrator? Thanks for your help nar
  5. Hi all, is it possible to show guides on all artboards at once. Not only on the selected artboard? And it it possible to place one horizontal guide over several artboards, like you can do in Illustrator. See attachment for further explanation. Thanks for helping nar
  6. How can I duplicate an artboard with content on overlying global layers? If I duplicate Artboard 1 the content on the global layer is not shown on Artboard 2. Sure I can copy the global content on each artboard and then move it to the global layer, but this will make me crazy in a complex documents with a lot of elements... Is there a elegant way to solve this problem? Thanks!!!
  7. Hi all, our office switched from Adobe Illustrator to Affinity Designer recently. We have some questions about the layers and artboards function. 1. We struggle with the artboard function which is connected with layers. We need global layers with recurring elements (like logo, client, etc.) which we can switch on/off and lock easy on one layer and not individually on every single artboard. We suceeded in creating these global layers, but if you move the artboard these global layers are not moved with the artboard. Why??? 2. Every new element we create is automatically moved to the artboard on which the element is created instead of a defined global layer. So you have a lot of moving of elements afterwards... Is it possible to detach the artboard and layer function like in Illustrator??? Attached is a Screenshot with global layer (Ebenen) and the artboards. Thanks a lot and I hope someone can help!
