I created a Master Page without any page number field. That resulted in page numbers from the previous Master Page continuing onto the pages managed by the new Master Page.

I don't see a method of creating a Master Page without numbers. To circumvent the issue I unchecked 'Frame Text' on selected pages for the fields holding page numbers. Thanks

While creating an eighty plus page book with facing page set, page numbers work perfectly. When exported to a PDF with facing page set, it works perfectly. When facing page is removed (as required in this case), page numbers appear on pages where they are set to not print. I have been avoiding upgrading to version 2 as motivation to continue assembling a replacement computer (Windows 11). If this page numbering problem doesn't occur in the upgrade it is motivation enough. Can anyone help?

When adding a section the only choices are to continue with page numbers or start a new series. How can a section be added with no page numbers after a section with page numbers?
