This is kinda old, but since I stumbled across this problem today... Switching between the selection boxes is a PITA and there is one way to apply the transformation quite easily: 1. Select the rotated/skewed object 2. Select the Add (geometry) tool 3. The rotation/skew will be applied The downsize of this is that the object (e.g. a rectangle) will be transformed to curves.

Please make the snapping candidate color configurable, eg. no color or a color of your choice. Having the default purple like color gets me angry, as it will obscure my overall design.

You can group your artboards and then have global guides but they won't show in the individual artboards, though. There is also but this will work only with same size artboards. The guides/their relative distance will scale with the artboard, something that will not work with differently scaled artboards, also, changing the margin/guides on one artboard will not replicate that setting across all artboards. Perhaps this would be a feature, i.e. inherit guides from parent group or something along that way.

Yes, just export your page as a template from File/Export as Template... and then add the folder you saved it to as a templates folder (when using New... / from template). Would be nice, though, to have a save as template action in the file menu, which would automatically set the .aftemplate file extension and also provide you with the known template locations from where to choose the save location from, alternatively save it to a custom location. Just noticed that there is the Export as Template action. Missing here is just the selection of the known template storage folders...
