Below is a list of common requested features for which there is already a thread created. Please avoid to create new ones if your request/feedback fits in one of those threads. We consider all requests no matter if they are common (and listed here) or not. The intend of this list is to avoid unnecessary thread duplicates. If you need to create a new one, please add just ONE request per thread.
There is NOT a vote system in place. Adding +1 to those topics will NOT affect their priority nor imply their implementation. That’s mostly dependent on time and development goals and constraints. Thanks.

Would love to have DXF and DWG import and export. Using Onshape--very cool parametric 3D CAD cloud app. It now can import DXF and DWG. Would love to be able to export some of y logo designs to Onshape so I can model my logos in 3D and output them to my 3D printer.
I purchased Affinity Designer for two specific purposes: one, to work with DXF files produced in ANSYS SpaceClaim, which can then be sent to all manner of cutters (laser, waterjet, CNC routers); and two, to repair DXF files needed for copyright and patent applications. My old version of illustrator did this, though poorly, which is why I do not wish to use it any longer. Unfortunately, Designer doesn't do this at all. I am posting here just to reinforce others' requests that DXF support be added to Affinity Designer.

Some users already requested support for DXF and/or DWG files.
We are considering adding support for these kind of files in the future.
First, Affinity Designer is beautiful and extremely efficient tool. I like it!
I am doing design and artwork for front panels / operating panels of electric devices and machines. The drawings are available in DXF and / or DWG from Autocad (trademark). What would really speed up my workflow is the option to *import* DXF or DWG files.
Considering that these files can carry very complex information it would be sufficient to be able import only a single layer file or a single layer of such a file. This contains all mechanical data so I can be sure that the artwork will match the target device.
Adobe Illustrator has this feature.
Export of DXF / DWG files is actually not required for this kind of work.

We are considering adding DWG and DXF support to Affinity, but it may take a while since there's still other features/improvements taking priority.
