Hi, it's unofficial rule here, that any files to download, especially files form affinity suite, we are uploading here directly on forum - many users consider this as more secure way to download these resources. Anyway - good job with designs.

I can only blame it on a broken font, as I cannot replicate it. It works fine with the afpub file provided

I’m seeing a space rather than a single ’f’ in your PDF, but you’ve used ‘Affinity’ as your test string. Please try again with another test string that doesn’t have an ‘i’ after the ‘ff’.

Font damaged? Acrobat X Pro shows no Arial font at all, Acrobat Reader DC shows a square and Foxit shows an empty space.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums
When Affinity version 1.7 is released we plan to mirror all the Vimeo tutorials (new and existing if still relevant) in YouTube playlists as you suggest. YouTube does allow playback control.
