Hey everyone,

I am creating a bilingual law magazine for my work. I want to "justify left" the texts in both languages. To remedy the extra spaces I use the "auto hyphenation" feature. In the English language, it works flawlessly. But, in Turkish, it does not work. I am just wondering is it a bug or does hyphenation simply not work in other languages. Do you guys have a suggestion for an alternative method to remedy the extra spaces?

Welcome to the Affinity forums @furkancalisan!

Do you applied Turkish language to the Turkish text frame (Character panel or inside your text styles)? And did you install the Turkish dictionary?

If not, here some information on how to install the Turkish dictionary

SORRY. I did not check if there is a hyphenation dictionary for Turkish, but could not find one. Some other Turkish users here with some other sources?

Don't know if this works. Extract the attached ZIP and copy the folder containing the three files to the place mentioned in the FAQ.
