Hi @webchemist,

Welcome to the forums.

Can you please navigate to %temp%\AffinitySetup, open the most recent created folder and attach the 2 files here?

Thanks,

Gabe.

I'm also having this problem, but with Windows Version 1.7.3.

I had been prompted to update Publisher the last time I opened it up, and downloaded the file to do so. Since then, I still have a Publisher icon in my Start menu, but it doesn't work, and the 1.7.3 setup file fails every time I try to run it.

Also, the Publisher Folder is inaccessible (screenshot attached).

That folder not being accesible is a local issue on your end. Have you got admin rights on your PC?

Thanks,

Gabe.

I have got admin rights, and that folder is the only one that brings up that message - even the other Affinity app folders open fine.

Just what I thought.

+Error: The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files\Affinity\Publisher.  The installation cannot continue.  Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator.

Try rebooting your PC and see if that works.
