Panorama stitch fail on iPadOS

I just went in to stitch a panorama I shot last night and after importing the photos and pressing “stitch” nothing happens. The UI “spinner” shows up and then...stop and there is no panorama. Has anyone seen this?

Can you please provide me with more information on the type and number of images that you are using to generate a panorama

I am experiencing the same problem. I have selected between 2 and 5 photos to stitch on various occasions; they appear in the left hand box, titled images, and when I select ‘stitch’, the processing circle appears for about 3 seconds and then disappears, and nothing appears in the ‘panorama’ box on the right hand side. 
 

I have successfully used panorama before, but since iPadOS, it seems the function doesn’t work. This is now with the updated affinity that has iPadOS compatibility (v1.7.3)

I just tried this with 3 quick snaps on my iPad and it worked fine. Maybe you could give that a try and see how it goes. Are you allowing sufficient overlap when taking the images? Maybe it is related to the type of files you are trying to stitch?

I’m using 3-5 images shot out of a GoPro Hero 7 black handheld. One set is horizontal and one set is vertical. I found another random app on the AppStore that did stitch them fine.

I did wonder if the edges of the image with the GoPro lens distortion was the cause, but then the other random app did it. The other app was Photo Stitch https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/photo-stitch-panorama-camera/id1335115391

Okay, I just tried it again and the horizontal ones now work since the update yesterday, but the vertical ones don’t work. The vertical images did stitch with the other app cited above.
