flossqueen
I have an image I converted from a png to svg with an online tool (since I can’t do a trace function in AD). When I open it with AD on my iPad I have duplicate strokes for all of the lines. Since I’m using this on a laser cutter, I only want 1 stroke. I cannot figure out how to delete the duplicate stroke. If I select using the node tool, it always selects both. I’ve had to open it in another tool on my PC to do it. Is there a way to do this work in AD on the iPad? DM1
Hi flossqueen, If you have 'duplicate lines' they would appear as separate layers. In that case you could simply delete the unwanted layers. It may be though that the strokes were 'expanded' from curves by your tracing app. In that case I’m not sure whether you can use Convert to curves to fix it. Someone will be along and let you know for sure. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). flossqueen
They are not separate layers. I used an online tool to convert to an svg. Convert to curves doesn’t fix it. That was one of the first thing I tried.
Staff Lee D Posted September 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 30, 2019 Can you provide a link to your file so I can take a look to see if anything can be done?
