Hey folks,

Just wondering if there is, or is going to be, a function where I can record a set of actions and assign them to a script or shortcut.

For each object I have in my creatures, I have to create 2 pixel layers within these objects, one for shadows (set to multiply), one for highlights (set to screen). I'd love to be able to insert both of these with their layer styles under each object with a click of a button. It would increase the speed of my workflow no end!

(Before, in Paint Shop Pro, I had universal layers for shadows and highlights for all objects)

Cheers,

George

Not as flexible as having two layers (one for Multiply and one for Screen) but you can add just one in Overlay. Overlay transfer mode does Multiply (for values lower than 50% luminosity) and Screen (for values higher than 50% luminosity).

However, I would like to have an Actions/Macro ability. And a Scripting ability too :-)

Making a set of layers under an object and copying and pasting them to others before I do any painting seems to be the quickest way at the moment. Noticing Designer is crashing occasionally when moving layers about though.

Cheers rui
