droesler
After exporting a document to PDF and looking at the document in Acrobat - the Title property (under Acrobats File->Properties) has a value that is not anything I can find in the document that was exported. Where does Publisher get the Title property from when exporting to PDF?
pixelinkmedia
i am curious to... in Document properties of a pdf there are fields that I would like to be able to fill in, in Affinity before exporting to PDF I post my pdf's on the web and would rather not have to open up a pdf in another app to just fill these in. I have not done a lot of testing with the various PDF export presets/options, but from what I have tried, the default Title property is the same as the document name if it has one, otherwise it is "Untitled." However, the Title & many other document properties can be set in the Fields Studio panel's Document Information section: I do not have Acrobat to test with, but using the Mac Preview.app's Inspector I get things like this: So my guess is Title, Author, & Subject fields are used if provided; &Tags are interpreted as a comma separated list; but I have no idea what comments become or how long they can be. (Not shown in the Fields screenshot, what I actually used was "nothing to see here. Move along." droesler
Thanks. I think the Title had come from a document I had started from and because there was already a title that was what was used. Although I don't know where that came from because I was not aware of View->Studio->Fields :-( Still learning Publisher.
