Johnny Chin Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 If you guys do it in InDesign with Affinity Designer to design the layout content too, do you guys export as pdf or other method? i export the Affinity Designer file as pdf and import them one by one into InDesign. The pdf file I exported from Affinity Designer I tested it by make another Affinity Designer file and drag that pdf into it (since I don’t have InDesign yet), and it appear to be a transparent background embedded file that I can click on to open the embedded file to move around individual pieces of image, vector and some rasterised unsupported custom made vector brush, this should be fine to be import into InDesign and act as container to store all these asset and they not act like a static background right? Staff DWright Posted August 30, 2019 Staff Posted August 30, 2019 In InDesign you place PDF similar to Designer but you will not be able to edit the PDF elements like you can in Designer, if you do not want a transparent background on the PDF exported in Designer go to the Document setup and under the colour tab disable the transparent background option. The like below is for information on placing multiple pdf's in a single InDesign document. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/978578 Quote
