win 10 and crashes

Recommended Posts

Have win 10 ...Affinity crashes at start up before the welcome screen 3 times out of 5....Works ok when it works.

I have dual graphic processors in my lap but it crashes equally on them both...seems to be related to the upgrade in someway but when I used an older version it still crashed . However Win 10 has also been upgraded to the latest build and I am now running the latest Affinity bata...Still crashing....Am at a loss

Hey jimalba, welcome to the Affinity Forums.

Would you be able to attach a crash report (or a few) to see if we can see where you are crashing? You can find them here:
%AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports\reports

It may be worth installing the beta which you can find here to see if your crash has been fixed. Unfortunately the 1.7.1 update introduced a few stability issues which have mostly been taken care of in the beta.
