i am using nvidia gtx 1070ti, if that helps

wacom 22hd, and another 4 k monitor.

I use onenote to gather reference and so on, but when i have viewed onenote on one screen, and interacted with it, dropping across back to affinity photo i have to restart the program. i can zoom in, and out, move layers, save and so on.  but cannot draw etc.  requires restart.

I've noticed this on other programs when flipping back and forth too

highlight on the selected brush is intermittent which is a seirous pain when i can't remember which brush i am currently using or want to flip back to!

in one instance, a file i was working on stopped responding, even after restart and saving as a different file name.  solution: saved as a tiff file, then resaved as a new afphoto doc.

I have attached the file which was playing up for me

can i just add though...my current project is working in layers at 3mx2m at 300dpi... and it's amazing its still working!  well done peeps!

Hey byron0512,

Could you try disabling Windows Ink just to see if this stops the issue from happening?

It sounds like the issue is being caused by changing focus. We've got a similar issue logged where changing focus will only allow you to draw straight lines. Alt+Tab is also supposed to fix this for the issue I mentioned but I'm not sure if it will work for you.
