Studio Access crashes Designer

I open my View drop down then go to the Studio option then open any panel and try to attach it to the Artboard and then the whole program crashes. I'm running MAC OS 10.14.5 (18F132). This hasn't happened until the most recent update. It keeps putting it in a mode where I have to boot the program and hold control to clear caches a lot.

Thanks. Does it crash if you try to do the same on a blank document?

Try this please: 

Close Designer . Open Finder. Go > Go to Folder >  ~/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/ and rename user to user.backup. Reopen Designer.

@GabrielM Yay! That  seems to have fixed it!! took me a sec to figure out how to find the containers because MAC has them hidden but after that it works great!! Thank you so much!!!
