Wojciech Krakowiak Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 All affinity apps hangs when file picker is about to open (save as, open, export etc.). It started happening on newest macOS Catalina 10.15 Beta (19A512f). It happens both in Affinity Stable in Beta version of Photo and Designer. The only way to get unsaved file was to find autosave and move it to another computer. The file was fine with the newest changes and I could continue working on iPad. I reported it to Apple, but this bug occurs only in Affinity Apps, so I decided to post it here as well. vinayaksom 1

celticfrog Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 (edited) I have the same configuration as Vinayaksom, but my program only started hanging on me this morning, it was fine yesterday. I also find the program doesn't load if I click on the program icon, but does if I double click a file. Update to say that it may be a Catalina issue, the computer hung up when I tried to restart. It appears that a member of the Affinity QA team didn't get round to fully investigating this specific report posted in the bugs forums. We are very sorry for this oversight. Yours is one of a number of reports that I am posting this apology to, using an automated script. Now we have released 1.8.3 on all platforms containing many hundreds of bug fixes, and we hope your problem has already been fully addressed. If you still have this problem in the 1.8.3 release build, then the QA team would really appreciate you reporting again it in the relevant Bugs forum.
