Ttubb1 Posted July 15, 2019 Share Posted July 15, 2019 When I was using the patch tool on a photo I was restoring, it crashed several times. Is it time to upgrade my 2012 MacBook Pro? What specs should I be looking for. I am not a professional photographer. It doesn’t seem like the MacBook Pro has changed that much. I have seen a few users report a crash with this tool but I've never been able to reproduce it. Do you have any crash reports? I can't really say if you need to upgrade or not but the fact I have seen other people crash with newer hardware suggests you might be OK for abit.
