lkeyes
Just installed Designer 1.7.1 on my mac with Mojave. Tried to print to my Brother B/W laser printer, and it printed just a series of rectangles with gradients. This shows up like this in the preview as well. A Similar document in Publisher with a version of the same image prints fine. Any ideas here? Thanks.
Staff Sean P Posted July 19, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2019 Hi lkeyes, If possible please try to attach some photos of your printout, what the preview shows and also a copy of the file you are trying print. If you could also attach the publisher document that is printing correctly that would also help! Unfortunately without that we're unable to give any guidance or help to narrow down the issue! lkeyes
Hi...am attaching files. PDF, Jpg, and a screenshot Print.Jpg which shows how it looks on my printer . I note that the printer is a Brother HL-L2370DW series, and under preferences it shows that it is using CUPs as the driver. I'm running on the latest Mac version. Staff Sean P Posted July 22, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 22, 2019 Thank you for the file. I've reproduced this here and it seems to be caused by the Grey/8 colour format. If you go into Document Setup and change it to RGB/8 you should be able to print your file. In the meantime I will get this logged with development.
