DarkClown
My exported PDF file looks really different from what I designed in Publisher! The Text layereffect is completely different from what it looks in Publisher? Is it my mistake or is there a bug in publisher? (Tried it in full and beta version) Bottom is the Publisher view - on top the exported PDF file. Scares the hell out of me seeing that this is a customer project that needs to be released soon .... CarlM
Hi Timo I just ran a test and encountered the same issue. The Outer Shadow Text layer in the exported pdf is a completely different shade of the colour you create in Publisher and appears much more opaque just as you identified. I have a fully colour managed system and just tested the pdf exports with a number of different settings with the same results. I don't know how I missed that one during Beta testing. DarkClown
Thx Carl! I first thought it was due to a scaling issue so the layereffects were applied after scaling the document for export - but the sizes of original and exported doc were the same. Staff Pauls Posted July 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2019 There is a known issue - it appears as though the shadow is using the normal blend mode. I've added this report to that issue.
DarkClown
Thanks for confirming, Pauls! Is there some kind of workaround in the meantime (or just not using any shadow)? Staff Pauls Posted July 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2019 For visual comparison set the blend mode to normal in the filter effect dialog.
