hinespraise Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I am using Affinity Photo downloaded from the App store version 1.7.1. This problem is consistent and I am able to reproduce it (video included). Basically whether I open an old document that I have worked with before or start a new document I receive the error - failed to save document - access to the file was lost. Using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5 I used this program yesterday to create images and had no issues - today all of my documents are giving me the same error. Affinity_Error.mov Quote
Minus44 Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 This could be a macOS issue. Have you tried rebooting your computer? Quote
Vince9 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 (edited) I have the same issue even after rebooting my computer. Update - I tried saving to all the normal folders on the Mac all failed, my external drive failed but the save succeeded with Dropbox and iCloud. Edited July 7, 2019 by Vince9 I tried more alternatives. Quote
Old Bruce Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 You may have to reset some preferences after this... Start the application while holding down the Control key until you are asked to Clear User Data, keep the top three checkboxes checked and click clear. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
