wkoehn
Is there any way in publisher to have a block of items with margins between so that if a text frame changes height, the frames below it maintain their "margin" distance?
wkoehn
I've got this working to a point using the pinning functionality. However, for this to work properly I will still need the 2 column text frame to auto size to the height of the content it contains... walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @wkoehn. I don't think there's a way to get your two-column frame to autosize automatically. However, you can quickly balance the text and resize the frame to the minimum needed by double-clicking on the bottom center node of the Text Frame once you've entered the text: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.

Unfortunately there is no such feature yet to be able to work in background. Instead you need to use the option "align vertically" in 3 steps each time a frame height changes: 1. unckeck the "Auto Distribute" 2. set a specific distance 3. click the most right button above Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
