R C-R
Even at 100% "quality" JPEG is a lossy format, meaning some detail will be lost if you export an image to it. It is also a single layer raster image format, so it can include no more detail that its pixel dimensions allow. Also, due to anti-aliasing used to flatten the image to its pixel dimensions, edges will look less sharp (fuzzier) than with vector image formats. The alternative to anti-aliasing produces the effect known as "Jaggies." walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Samo_Krose. The ultimate quality will depend on a combination of factors, including how big your image is (pixel dimensions) when you're working on it, how big the exported version will be (again, pixel dimensions), the resampling options you choose during export, the quality level you choose during export, and the intended viewing size. Without more detail, and possibly sample files (.afphoto, and exported .jpg) it's difficult to provide more information or suggestions. Unless you can provide us with an original, and an exported version using your normal approach that you're unhappy with, I can't provide any more advice. Sorry.
