Armin77
Was mache ich falsch? Sorry, I can't speak English. I use the Google Translator and hope for German help. I have problems with the selection framework. If I load a complete single image I can copy or cut out parts of it with the selection frame. If I have several levels, i can't do that anymore. The selection is not cut out, but the entire layer is deleted. What am I doing wrong?
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Armin77. If you Place an image, or drag and drop, to create a new layer, you probably get an (Image) layer rather than a (Pixel) layer. Look in the Layers panel to see. To work on the pixels of an (Image) layer, you need to Rasterize it. For example, select the layer in the Layers panel, right-click, and choose Rasterize. Then your operations will work. From Google Translate: Willkommen in den Serif Affinity-Foren, @Armin77. Armin77
Thank you, that's what it was. You have to rasterize the layers before you can edit them walt.farrell
