Multi- stroke scaling

I created a multi stroke effect from a rectangle with the appearance panel and made it a style. I then created another rectangle a different size that I applied the style to. But if I want the overall appearance of the style to scale by decreasing the stroke style from the stroke panel, only 1 stroke in the 3 that make it up changes. Is there a way to scale the effect in proportion?

There is no global way to resize multiple strokes simultaneously.

I was going to suggest that Scale with Object might help, but in fact I believe there is a bug that renders this feature pretty useless with multiple strokes.
