000
Hey guys, I really, really love that the people creating the software are now recording tutorials and show how to use it. It is a fantastic idea and gives users an opportunity to feel closer to the app than ever. However — the old tutorials were MUCH better to learn how to use Affinity! Some of your own people explain way to slow (in one video my mind strayed and I was thinking about starting a drinking game and taking a shot whenever the person said one specific word, it was really distracting) and I cannot bear to finish a video, some others are to quick and jump over things they consider unimportant, but forget that some people do not know about them without being explained in a bit more detail. In one other video, the recording of the person presenting is hiding / covering the panel they are talking about. My suggestion is to have your programmers record a general overview video for each persona, but to get a professional educator in, to do the tutorials people learn from. If it is about hiring someone, you could sell the videos for a small fee, maybe same a s the software a one-off payment for ALL 1.x content, then again for ALL 2.x content in the future? What really made me sad, is to see that all the old tutorials have been removed from Vimeo — I Learned SO MUCH from them, particularly the isometric drawing one for Designer where an actual project was created was absolutely amazing! I know it is not current any more with the new ISO studIo panel, but the features presented do still exist and besides the perspective, just the information about how to use grids and the drawing tools is still valid and wonderfully presented. Please bring them back!!! jarcon

000
Thanks, Miguel! Hurray! Didn't find them on the official Vimeo site, SO happy, they are not lost! My critique on the new videos and the suggestion to sell tutorials or courses in the old format still stand.
