1. If I place a raster image in an APub document, and then select the Edit Image button/command on the toolbar, Publisher DOES NOT automatically open the selected image's tab (not in Separated Mode). It does open create a new tab with the image, but it's not automatically brought to the front. It requires an extra click (assuming you even notice the new tab was created – it took me several tries to notice, it seemed like the button was not working.

2. After going to the newly created tab with the image in it, Publisher leaves me in the Publisher persona. If one wants to edit an image, the Photo persona is where it's at, not the Publisher persona, so it would be nice to have Publisher automatically open the file in a new tab in the Photo persona.

3. If I place an ADesigner document (Linked) and then I click on Edit Document button/command on the toolbar, APub opens the file in a new tab, but it is labeled <Embedded>. My preferences are set to prefer linked over embedded files. What gives?

4. After going to the newly created tab with the ADesigner file in it, Publisher leaves me in the Publisher persona. Again, if one wants to edit an Affinity Designer file, the Designer persona is where it's at, not the Publisher persona. Publisher should open the document in a new tab, with the original file name showing, not <Embedded> and open it up in the Designer persona. If I make changes to the document, Publisher should allow me to save the changes to the ORIGINAL LINKED FILE, respect my General Preferences to "Prefer Linked Resources" and not embed it in the Publisher document. The same behavior should apply to linked raster images edited via the Edit Image button/command on the toolbar.

Thank you for your consideration.

#2, #4 - agreed

#3 - copies of documents are currently embedded even if linked; this was corrected for non-document image files (tiff, png, etc.) before the release of Publisher, but still needs to be worked out for documents (Serif is aware and has indicated they intend to fix this in some future version)
