Hello. Is there a way to dock documents side by side in Affinity Photo? I can drag out a document and float it. But I cannot find a way to dock it so that I can see two documents side by side. Is this possible? If not, is this being planned for the future? I can currently do this in just about every other photo or art program from Photoshop to Clip Studio Paint, etc. and I find it quite useful.

Thanks in advance. :)

From your description it sounds like you're using Windows. In that caes, if you have two floated documents, just resize each of their windows so they fit where you want them, and move them so they are side-by-side.

Note that in 1.7 (unlike 1.6, for some reason) the default will be to add the second window as a docked tab of the first floating window. Just drag it free, and you should have two floating independently. When you're moving them around, if you get blue docking bars keep dragging them until the bars disappear. (This was all easier in 1.6.)

Thank you. I do appreciate your answer.

So, there is no way, on Windows, to doc two documents side-by-side. Instead, you have to float your windows. This is fine, but not the best solution. I hope that Affinity adds proper docking of document windows to Affinity Photo.
